As the leader of the treatment team, a therapist is responsible for providing clinical assessments, counseling, advocacy, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing multiple and complex trauma, as well as a myriad of other mental health challenges and their expression. They are deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required, which often may include case conferences, team meetings, and appearance in court
